Preliminary Call for Papers [doc] [pdf] |
The ISEC conference is the main yearly conference of the newly created Special Interest Group on Software Engineering (SIGSE) under the umbrella of the Computer Society of India. The Fourth ISEC will be held in TCS campus. ISEC will bring together researchers and practitioners from across the world to share the results of their work. We invite technical papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, empirical, and experimental software engineering research. Papers describing industry experience are especially welcome. Our goal is to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry to meet and share cutting-edge advancements in the field of software engineering. All submissions should clearly identify their contribution to the state of the art and their potential usefulness. Submissions are invited broadly in all aspects of software engineering, including but not limited to, the following:
|
- Requirements Engineering |
- Testing and Static Analysis |
- Empirical Software Engineering and Metrics |
- Specification and Verification |
- Software Performance Engineering |
- Model Driven Software Engineering |
- Software Architecture and Design |
- Tools and Environments |
- Development Paradigms and Processes |
- Maintenance and Evolution |
- People issues in Software Engineering |
- Quality Management |
- Component Based Software Engineering |
- Object-Oriented Technology |
- Service oriented architecture and web services |
- Distributed software development |
- Case Studies and Industrial Experience |
- Software as a Service |
- Cloud Computing and Software Engineering |
- Knowledge based Software Engg |
- Agent oriented Software Engg |
|
|
In cooperation with ACM SIGSOFT, some of the best papers from the flagship conferences FSE (Symposium on Foundations of Software Engg) and ICSE (International Conference on Software Engineering) will be presented as Keynotes/Invited papers in ISEC.

Paper Submission |
Paper submissions will be reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical quality, and relevance to conference. Submission of papers will be carried out electronically via the Web in PDF format. Full length Research Papers should not exceed ten pages. Additionally, we will also be considering Short Papers that describe preliminary results or experience. Short Papers should not exceed four pages. All papers should follow ACM SIG guidelines as available here. We plan to have the proceedings published through ACM and have it available in ACM Digital library. All accepted papers, including both full-length Research Papers as well as Short Papers, will be included in the proceedings. All accepted Research Papers will be assigned presentation slots, along with a subset of accepted Short Papers, which may be given shorter duration slots. In case sufficient time slots are unavailable, the balance of accepted Short Papers will be asked to present their work as a poster. |
